Morganti Legal, P.C. partners up with Morgan & Morgan, P.C. to represent consumers that purchased imported vehicles and paid a destination charge

This lawsuit is brought as a class action against many of the largest transocean shipping companies that ship millions of vehicles that are manufactured overseas and imported into United States.  The claim alleges that since October 2008 the shipping companies engaged in a conspiracy to fix, raise, maintain and/or stabilize prices, and allocate the market and customers.  During 2011 and 2012, the Canadian Competition Bureau, Department of Justice Antitrust Division, Japanese Fair Trade Commission, and European Commission Competition Authority conducted unannounced visits on these shipping companies.  The action was filed in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
